Jean-Christophe ZeusTo be exact, with this set you can convert the Tamiya kit to a KV-1 Model 1940 (F-32 gun) manufactured by LKZ in September 1941. The turret is the up-armored (90mm), short-bustle, simplified turret without interlocked joints - hence the reinforcing fillet beneath the turret bustle.
The covers for the drive sprockets feature the correct 8 bolts. The return rollers are the pressed steel ones with rubber rims. The issue with the undersized idler wheels remains unaddressed.
The armored strip protecting the driver's hatch is included as an optional part, as it was not fitted to all vehicles.
