I never found any reviews on this set before buying . Now that I have it ,and doing test fits, I discover it doesnt fit as it should compared to the real F-16. It,ll fit ,but its not accurate when it does. The dash shroud should begin right at the edge of the front canopy seal, but with the Aires set, it begins almost an inch back. thats ALOT to be noticed. I will say though, that the cockpit dimensions and shapes look accurate...I 'think' its the Tamiya kit itself thats the wrong dimensions. as their cockpit is definitely not right. the side consoles are way too long and at the wrong angle ,making the cockpit too long. so knowing that , the kit itself has to be wrong ,and Aires did what they could to give an accurate cockpit. compare others build photos of this set,and compare that to photos of the dash shroud (where the HUD is sitting on)
